Programs

UR Downtown incorporates three major programs:

Richmond Families Initiative (RFI): Managed by the University’s Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, this initiative supports the development of healthy and stable families in collaboration with nonprofit partners by engaging students and faculty through sustained community-based learning, research, and service projects.

Harry L. Carrico Center for Pro Bono Service: The Carrico Center connects Richmond-area attorneys and University of Richmond law students to provide a range of free legal services to low-income clients.

Jeanette Lipman Family Law Clinic: A partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University, the family law clinic provides local families with direct legal, mental health, and social work services.
